Created by African-American artist and educator Ortega F. Missouri, Mr. Show Me’s Art celebrates the beauty, strength, history, faith, love, and resilience of the Black experience through original artwork transformed into wearable art.

Every Design Has a Story

Art has always been one of the ways we tell our stories.

Our history has been passed down through words, music, photographs, paintings, traditions, and memories. At Mr. Show Me’s Art, that tradition continues through visual storytelling.

Each T-shirt begins with an idea and a story. Some designs honor the sacrifices of those who came before us. Others celebrate Black love, family, faith, education, HBCU culture, music, achievement, and the strength of our communities. Every image is created with a purpose—to make you feel something, remember something, celebrate something, or start a conversation.
